Happy Birthday guys!

Can you believe we've had 3 years of Google+? After celebrating Facebook's 10th birthday back in February and Twitter's in May - it's time for Google+.

First let's mention the news about Orkut - Google's first social network that sadly never really took off. On Monday, Google announced plans to shut down the platform on 30th September, after more than 10 years of service. Don't worry, existing users will be able to export their information using Google Takeout.

Back to the celebrations - the people at DPFOC have created an infographic displaying just how big an impact the +1 button can have if you add it to your site both now and in the future. If you're not already, you can follow Wordtracker for our latest articles and industry news.

What changes will we see in the next 3 years?
