Periscope, Snapchat and a 62% cheaper per lead acquisition via content marketing will dominate your 2016 marketing efforts, so says a new infographic from Microsoft.

The tech experts have looked into their digital crystal ball to pinpoint exactly what marketers will love and which trends will dominate over the next 12 months.

It suggests that leads generated by content marketing are 62% cheaper than leads generated via other outbound marketing channels – meaning we can all expect to hear a lot more and do a lot more content-wise in 2016.

The infographic also says to expect some game changing tech this year, and for a big boom in wearable technology.

Socially, Periscope and Snapchat are likely to be big news and should form a standard part of marketing activity come the close of the year.
