The combined revenue of the tech giants rivals that of some states. So where does it all come from?

The big tech five generate almost $900bn in revenue combined last year, eclipsing other major industry groups. Along with their massive revenues, uncomfortable questions like privacy and treatment of workers have increasingly come into focus, but have not hindered growth.
