An animated visualization of the spiders and algorithms that make the search giant the powerhouse it is today

Google is part of our everyday lives, something we pretty much take for granted. But have you ever wondered how it works?   Although there are lots of complex processes going on in the background, for the user it’s brilliantly simple and easy to use – type something in and you get results back in an instant.

Google looks at hundreds of variables to find the most relevant results for your search and this infographic shows you some of the processes going on at the back end.  It’s a great example of how to make a complex product super user friendly for the consumer.

Thanks to Neil Patel of Quicksprout for this great infographic.
